The green

The hole

The signature hole of the course, and the one every round builds toward. A straightaway par 5 that runs dead at the Atlantic, it usually plays into the prevailing sea breeze — it takes three solid shots to get home.

Salt marsh lines the entire left side; a lagoon guards the right from the tee, with a bunker tucked against its bank 271–313 yards from the green. A lone bunker pinches the left side of the second-shot landing area, and a long bunker sits short and right of the green to catch the layup that drifts.

Three greenside bunkers wrap the elevated putting surface. Hole out and look up: open beach and ocean, just past the flag.
